International students:   Courses are open to International students.
On-line course delivery platform:   Online courses use an easy to learn platform called Canvas.   This hosting platform allows course communications and materials to be managed and available in an easy, accessible, intuitive manner within what we term an ‘online studio’.  This software is available for students to use, for free.  Courses may also use Zoom to host ‘live’ sessions and YouTube to host proprietary recordings.  Occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, these platforms may be unavailable due to host site maintenance, etc.
Course materials:   Online access means 24/7 access to the online studio (weekly lesson plans, supporting pdfs, background resources, etc.) unless there is an issue with the learning platform which is out of the tutor’s control.    If, due to circumstances beyond our control, learning platforms are unavailable due to host site maintenance, etc.  for a period of more than 5 business days, alternate platforms/communications channels will be used until the technical issues are resolved. We reserve the right to change the course materials, platform, course package and pricing at our discretion and without prior notice.

By paying for a course or service and then enrolling in a course using your enrolment link, you are explicitly consenting to waive the 14-day cooling-off period.  After the cooling-off period, or after initial course enrolment and access, course fees cannot be refunded.
Tutor availability:  The course tutor is available by email for communications.  You can expect business hours responses, within 48 hours of your message being sent.  This means Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm, UK (London) time.  Generally, you can expect responses will be earlier than this.  The tutor will follow UK school holiday dates and will not (usually) be online during school holidays.  The course tutor is also available by video call (Zoom) as and when agreed.
Parental Supervision:  Course material may contain sensitive subject information and links to external websites;  parents are encouraged to review information with, or in advance of, the student reviewing it, if they have any concerns.
Every effort has been made to ensure that multi-media content that is included as part of the course detail, to provide relevant/timely/real-world examples and support, is acceptable to anyone over age 9.
The tutor makes every attempt to view material first and personally gauge its appropriateness;  in addition, the relevance of the material is weighed against any negatives.  If you have any concerns, please do review all course materials in advance of your child doing so.

Academic Integrity
Academic integrity refers to honesty, trust, fairness, respect and responsibility in scholarship and is a fundamental value in higher education.  It includes plagiarism and the use of AI.  The requirement for academic integrity applies to all work submitted and includes, but is not limited to:  writing, drawings, photos, videos, quiz answers, presentations, designs.
All use of work that is not 100% the learner’s own must be attributed and the sources identified, including where paraphrased or summarised.  This applies to literary, graphical, electronic, oral and any other media used.
Learners are responsible for producing the work submitted and must only take credit for work which is their own. Any contribution to a submission by others must be explicitly and appropriately acknowledged.
Every assessment that submitted must be a new piece of work; learners should never submit the same piece of work twice either in part or as a whole as two different submissions.
In submitting work for assessment, learners are agreeing to their work being checked and retained by plagiarism and AI detection software, which may be used by the tutor for purposes of ascertaining academic integrity, at any time.
Any and all suspected incidents of academic misconduct will be investigated and, in proven cases, penalties will be applied – which may include removal from the course and prevention of enrolling in any future courses.
Terms and conditions can be updated at any time.
